Danny G. Meinhardt, 57, died suddenly Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at his home in Bennington, Kansas. He was born March 5, 1952, in Bloomfield, Iowa to George and Lurla Riebel Meinhardt. He was a graduate of Scotland County High School in Memphis, Missouri and the University of Missouri at Columbia, Missouri.
He worked with Archer Midland in Illinois, later transfering to Kansas until his retirement. He worked in real estate development and was a principal owner of Golden Eagle Estates.
Surviving is his friend, Deborah Scheibler, of Bennington, Kansas; two sons: George Logan Meinhardt of Salina, Kansas and Adam Travis Meinhardt, of Salt Lake City, Utah; his parents,George and Lurla Meinhardt of Memphis, Missouri, two brothers: Donovan Meinhardt and wife Judi, of Colo, Iowa and Kim Meinhardt and Karen Shanley, of Memphis, Missouri and a sister, Connie Briddle and husband Gary of Kirksville, Missouri, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Otto and Mary Meinhardt and Clark and Lucille Riebel.
