Bonnie Lee Snodgrass, 67, of Kirksville, Missouri and formerly of Memphis, Missouri, died Monday, September 15, 2008 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
She was born June 3, 1941 at Kansas City, Missouri to James Howard and Gracie Lee Lucas Eads.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Donald Leroy Snodgrass on June 28, 1958 at Miami, Oklahoma. To this union five children were born. Donald died June 5, 1994.
Bonnie attended the First Assembly of God Church in Kirksville, Missouri. She was a devoted mother and a very caring person. She cared for her mother for six and a half years and also cared for her son’s children after his death. Bonnie loved her family. She enjoyed playing cards, especially canasta.
Family members left to cherish her memory include her children: Debra Snodgrass and Christopher Snodgrass of Kirksville, Missouri, Karen Brown of Memphis, Missouri and a step-daughter, Meadena Leverich, of Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren: Jennifer Craig, Lisa Snodgrass, Dustin Albertson, Anthony Schultz and his wife, Toni, Sarah Starr and her husband, Terry, Marcy Snodgrass, James Snodgrass and Nathan Snodgrass and nine great-grandchildren: Stormi Schultz, Mehgan Wentworth, Alexis Stark, Lucas Stark, Hailei Schultz, Trinity Stark, Kierra Johnson, Jazmya Schultz and Tevon Johnson. One brother, James H. Eads of Spokane, Washington survives and four step-brothers: Charles Zurn of Kansas City, Kansas, Robert Zurn of Tyler, Texas, Jimmy Zurn of Independence, Missouri, and Arthur Zurn of Arkansas and a step-sister, Ann Roe of Raytown, Missouri.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sons: Richard Aaron Snodgrass and Kenneth Wayne Snodgrass and a sister, Marjorie Camerlick.
