Margaret Mae Moffett, 78, of Memphis, Missouri died Monday, June 9, 2008 at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was born August 22, 1929 at Warsaw, Hancock County, Illinois to Lester Floyd and Blanche Marie Myers Nichols. She was united in marriage to William Herbert Moffett at Washington, Iowa on November 5, 1949. To this union three sons were born. Margaret and her husband were charter members of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Memphis.

Margaret worked in Memphis at the National Garment Factory for twenty years and also at the Buton Factory. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery hand work and had a great love of cats. In her pastime she enjoyed watching television and especially enjoyed whatching Wheel of Fortune and old movies. Survivors include her two sons; Gary Lee Moffett and his wife, Donna Lee, of Queen City, Missouri; Bill Moffett of Bloomfield, Iowa; five grandchildren: Stephanie Nicole Baily and her husband Jeremy, of Hamilton, Iowa; Christopher Michael Moffett of Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Noster, Missouri; Zack Moffett of Independence, Iowa; Brian Moffett of Panhandle, Texas; Samantha Tarpin and her husband, Ben of Memphis, Missouri and four great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother Ronald Nichols and his wife, Donna, of Omaha, Nebraska; a sister JoAnn Sikora of LaVista, Nebraska and several nieces and nephews.
