Robert Pearl Rowe, 88, of Memphis, Missouri left this life on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
He was born December 8, 1918 to Earl and Delora O. Marlow Rowe near Downing, Missouri. Robert attended country school and Downing High School. On March 16, 1939, he was united in marriage to Beulah Vetra Acton at Memphis, Missouri. To this union a daughter was born.
Robert and his wife farmed until 1954 when they moved to Memphis after he started working for the Missouri State Highway Department in 1953. He retired on May 31, 1981 after 28 years with MoDOT. Robert enjoyed gardening and sharing his produce with family and friends.
Robert is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and Ray Howard of Memphis, Missouri, cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and his wife, Vetra, on March 30, 2006.
