Archie B. Miller, 96, 0f Bloomfield, Iowa and formerly of Memphis, Missouri, died February 17, 2007 at the Bloomfield Care Center in Bloomfield, Iowa.
He was born November 13, 1910, at Gorin, Missouri to William Benjamin and Rilda Ellen Huntly Miller. He attended school in Gorin, Missouri. He married Doris Evelyn Fogle on September 21, 1938 at Memphis, Missouri and to this union one son was born.
Archie was a crop and cattle farmer until his retirement in 1990. He enjoyed spending time with family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and farming.
He is survived by his wife, Doris, who resides at the Bloomfield Care Center; his son, Larry Lee Miller and his wife, Glenda, of Bloomfield, Iowa and two grandchildren; Matt Miller of Ottumwa, Iowa and Mandi Francis and her husband, Alan, of Bloomfield, Iowa. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren; Jocelyn Miller, Maleena Bender, Kaitlin Francis and Alexa Francis; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; Tom Miller, Harry Miller, Ray Miller, Fred Miller and Cecil Miller and four sisters; Hazel Kittle, Alta Corso, Eula M. Ridge and Jewel Schelen.
