Thelma Louise Kreeger, 94, of Memphis, Misssouri, passed away August 20, 2006 at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
She was born June 15, 1912 in Virginia, Minnesota to Charles W. and Bertha Margaret Harmon.
She graduated from high school in Dundee, Illinois. She was a member of First Christian Church in Memphis, Missouri. She also attended school in Moberly, Missouri graduating as a Licensed Practical Nurse and practiced nursing for many years.
She married Charles Kreeger on June 18, 1930 in Dundee, Illinois and to this union five children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981.
She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and raising flowers and green plants.
She is survived by three sons: Richard Kreeger and his wife, Georgene, of Cook, Minnesota; Dennis Kreeger and his wife, Mary, of Littleton, Colorado; Kenneth Kreeger and his wife, Sue, of Las Vegas, Nevada; a daughter-in-law, Pam Kreeger, of Waukegan, Illinois, fifteen grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, and a very special friend, Ann Muntz of Memphis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbnad, a daughter Sharon James, a son, James Kreeger; two sisters; Ann Hanson and Elva Hoskins and a brother, Charles Harmon. |
