Jack B Shelton, 87 of Memphis, Missouri was born July 7, 1918 to Ben and Rita Shelton.
Me married Beulah Darlene "Billie" Scott on June 17, 1939 in Memphis, Missouri. To this union six sons and a daughter were born.
He worked as a maintenance supervisor. He loved to hunt and fish and to work on small engines including the repair of lawn mowers. He was a proficient welder and carpenter.
He is survived by five sons; Gary Shelton of Milton, Iowa; Robert Shelton of Quincy, Illinois, Ron Shelton of Ashland, Missouri; Bill Shelton of Independence, Missouri and Lanny Shelton of Queen City, Missouri. Others survivors include 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister Louise Winn of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and two brothers; Donald Shelton of Vevay, Indiana and Jim Shelton of Fort Madison, Iowa. |
