Survivors include a son, Stanley D. Barker of Canon City, Colorado and a daughter Beverly Epperson and husband Ken of Milton, Iowa. Four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen, his parents, and one brother, Gale Barker. |

Dale was an avid sports fan and loved watching ballgames and all sports activities. He enjoyed coon hunting and working with horses and mules.
He was a famer in the Bible Grove area and retired in 1985. He was a member of the Bible Grove Christian Church and a 50 year member of the Wallace W. Gillespie Post #4958 of the VFW. |
The family has suggested that memorials be made to the Bible Grove Historical Society or th the chairty of the donor's choice. |
