Survivors include a son, Stanley D. Barker of Canon City, Colorado and a daughter Beverly Epperson and husband Ken of Milton, Iowa. Four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen, his parents, and one brother, Gale Barker.

Served in the U. S. Navy World War II

Graduate Bible Grove High School Class of 1942

Dale was an avid sports fan and loved watching ballgames and all sports activities. He enjoyed coon hunting and working with horses and mules. He was a famer in the Bible Grove area and retired in 1985. He was a member of the Bible Grove Christian Church and a 50 year member of the Wallace W. Gillespie Post #4958 of the VFW.

The family has suggested that memorials be made to the Bible Grove Historical Society or th the chairty of the donor's choice.
